Hiring Freelancers

If your print or web project requires the hiring of freelance editors, photographers, or designers, Marketing and Creative Services can facilitate connections for you. We uphold the college policy to work with our internal pool of talented contacts (alumni, faculty, staff) whenever possible. If you need to hire a freelancer, remember to factor it in your project budget. The complexity of the piece, the number of revisions, and any rush services will affect freelance rates.

The following are estimated (based on recently invoiced projects) fees for your budget consideration.

Editing
$30-$50 per hour

Photography
$150-$250 per hour (depending on event and setup requirements)

Video (fees reflect total cost per project)
$600-$1,200 (editing existing content into final piece)
$1,000-$3,000 (filming and production)

Print design (fees reflect total cost per project)
$250-$750 (postcard)
$750-$3,000 (brochure)
$600-$1,500 (poster)
