The Communications Office issues a calendar of events press release twice yearly to notify the press of upcoming college-sponsored events. The resulting media coverage can take the form of reviews, stories, mentions, or additional calendar listings.
Events submitted for CCA's public programs brochure are automatically included in the calendar of events press release (see Publications for schedule). If you are unable to meet the submission deadlines for the brochure or need to make a last-minute change to your submitted events, contact the editor as soon as possible.

Copy due July 1 (or closest business day)
- December/January press release:
Copy due October 15 (or closest business day)
All submitted public programs brochure events are posted to CCA's website. Select events also will be submitted and/or posted to appropriate outside event websites.
If you wish to publicize a last-minute college-sponsored event, individual requests can be submitted directly to the publicity/promotions team. Note: all events must be received at least two weeks prior to the event.
We regret that events submitted within two weeks of the event cannot be publicized outside of CCA's website. If the event is at least five days away, at the discretion of the Communications Office, it may still be possible to post it at CCA's event calendar and/or specific department pages. Please use our event listing request form (look for the web calendar event listings section).
While we make every effort to list your event effectively, we cannot guarantee whether the event listing will post—or where it will post if sent out publicly. Event listings are cut first to accommodate a more space-demanding feature story or to make room for last-minute advertising. Certain kinds of event listings, such as lecture series, are particularly vulnerable.
