If you don’t have a computer, you may consider using computers at your local library.

May I submit my resume without specifying interest in a particular position?

You must submit an online application for all positions that you wish to be considered for. An online application can only be submitted for a specific position.

How long does the recruitment process take?

The recruitment and selection process can vary depending on the position and is often based upon how quickly qualified applicants move through the screening and selection process. On average, positions are filled after one to three months.

I’m a current CCA employee. How can I apply/transfer to a new position within the college?

Current CCA employees who wish to apply for a posted position must log into Workday and search “Find Staff Jobs” in the search box at the top of the screen. Please apply using the online application associated with the position.

What does the new hire orientation process entail?

CCA typically conducts new hire orientation on Mondays, and we try to schedule the first day of employment on a day with orientation. New employees will receive an orientation, where HR facilitates a presentation with information about CCA’s history, mission, values, systems/technology, policies/procedures, benefits overview, and additional important details. New employees will also receive an orientation with a user support specialist for technology setup. Department managers support the orientation process by providing additional job-specific training and onboarding activities among their teams.

If I’m hired, will I need to go through an introductory evaluation period?

Yes. All new employees and current CCA employees who have transferred to a new position must complete a six-month introductory period. The employee and manager will review the job description and establish goals for the next six-month period. At the end of the six months, the manager will set up time to review the employee’s performance against the set goals and discuss next steps.
