San Francisco campus
The San Francisco campus exemplifies remarkable eco-conscious design, strategic systems thinking, and commendable sustainability. The facility was originally a Greyhound Bus maintenance facility built by Skidmore Owings & Merrill in the 1950s. The college purchased and renovated the space in 1996.

Graduate Center
CCA's architectural award–winning Graduate Center houses the graduate Fine Arts individual studios, gallery, classrooms, seminar spaces, technology resources, faculty and program offices, and shared areas for students and faculty from all programs to collaborate and congregate socially.

Oakland campus
The historic four-acre Oakland campus houses the college's undergraduate art programs. The First-Year Studios, residence halls, and the Center for Art and Public Life also are located here.
