The web team is part of the Communications Department, which is based on the San Francisco campus.
Design & Development
During the 2003–4 academic year, the college's web team at that time, Jeremy Crawford and Scott Emery, created the site's content structure and developed its underlying code.
The site's look was designed by Laika/e-Sputnik, a class of Graphic Design students. The students worked for two semesters under the supervision of Graphic Design instructor Stella Lai and the web team.
The design was approved by the Web Task Force, chaired by Chris Bliss, vice president for communications.
The site was built by the web team and then published in August 2004.
Since the site's initial publication, additional design elements have been provided by students in the Graphic Design course Sputnik.
In 2005 and 2006, the college web developer, Chadwick Wood, redeveloped much of the site's code and created a content management system so that different departments at the college could maintain parts of the website themselves.
