The strategy of making learning visible is an extension of the work of the Reggio Emilia approach in Italy. This technique focuses on the learning process, rather than the products.
When learning is made visible, students, teachers, and parents are better able to recognize where learning is flourishing, as well as where it is struggling.
Participants in the workshop examine the different ways documentation has been used in the classroom and discuss systems and tools to make their documentation more focused and meaningful.
