Jesse Crimes, born in 1986 and raised at the outskirts of Los Angeles, fell in love with photography by age 20. He believed he had finally found a media that could act as a tool for investigating and trying to understand society, culture, and his place within them.

He graduated with high distinction and today works for commercial photographers. One of his most noteworthy clients is Apple Computer in the Silicon Valley.

He recently traveled to New Delhi, his starting point for a four-month journey across northern India and Nepal. While traveling he came face to face with a culture more diverse and more thought-provoking than he had ever imagined. (Perfect fodder for a hungry photographer!)

When he wasn’t staying with locals, swimming in the Ganges, or traveling with new friends from all around the world, Crimes was writing short stories or crafting images that reflected his experiences.

He plans to return to India . . . only next time with more film.
