Nusha Ashjaee's first comic, titled (Nusha), was published in Sweet in 2011. Another comic of hers was accepted to be published in an anthology, Cartoonists Against Bullying.
Ashjaee is a contributing writer for "The Fear Girls," a feminist blog run by fellow CCA alumnae, Sophia Rowland and Caitlin Clarkson.
She's an intern for Top Shelf Productions, an independent comic book publisher located in Portland, Oregon, where she currently lives.
She assisted renowned and critically acclaimed graphic novelist Craig Thompson put together his new collection of comics, also to be published by Top Shelf.
Ashjaee is currently participating as an associate artist in Atlantic Center for the Arts's Graphic Novel Residency in Florida, working with award-winning master artist Megan Kelso.
