Sarah Willmer has practiced architecture for nearly 20 years, designing everything from corporate campuses and university buildings to residential dwellings and renovations. Following 15 years with the internationally recognized firms Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Polshek Partnership Architects, and Anshen + Allen, Sarah founded Studio Sarah Willmer. Driven by the desire to stay intimately involved with the design process from concept to construction, she brings her diverse background and team-leading experience to the firm's residential projects.
Sarah's work was selected for the AIA's San Francisco Living: Home Tour in 2004. She is currently participating in an artist residency program at the European Ceramic Works Centre in the Netherlands to develop a unitized ceramic panel for modern architecture.
She has led numerous architectural design studios and formerly served as assistant professor at Ohio State University. At CCA she teaches advanced design studios and interdisciplinary fabrication studios.
