CERAM200 Ceramics 1: Self Portrait

Can clay, our oldest art medium, be a tool to create current, conceptually relevant work? We will ask this and many other questions in this introductory ceramic sculpture course. With the aid of class discussions, assignments, slide shows, sketching and reading, this course will provide technical skills while exploring the many ways we can use clay to express our concepts.
