CERAM204 Ceramics 2: Glaze Technology

This is an in-depth course covering clay and glaze development. Students will conduct clay and glaze research as it relates to personal expression and the development of their art work. Technically the course will include line blend, fusion, and triaxial blend testing. Students will also learn about relief sculpture, tile murals, and installation procedures. Projects will be assigned as they relate to architectural commissions for public spaces.
