INDUS100 Introduction Industrial Design

Introduction to Industrial Design is a course for students interested in finding out more about the world of the industrial designer. All of the products that you touch in the world today were designed by an industrial designer: your ipod, tennis shoes, coffee, mug, bicycle. This course offers a broad introduction to the field of ID and product ideation, including basic model-making skills materials selection and translating conceptual ideas to paper. This course tracks product development from inception through ideation to completion. You will have designed your own innovative new products by the end of this course.
