PHOTO104 Tools 2: Color

An introduction to color theory, construction of color materials, on camera filtration, color temperature, and densitometry. Shooting and printing assignments will be in color negative materials and chrome film and paper will be covered in lectures. Historical and contemporary color work will be the subject of field trips and slide and folio presentations. In addition to demonstrating understanding and control of the materials covered, a major end-of-term project is required.
