WRITE602 GE: 1111 Literary Art Journal

In the spring of 2004, students in the Graduate Writing Program produced the first issue of Eleven Eleven - a new, vibrant literary arts journal, publishing fiction, poetry, nonfiction, reviews, interviews, and visual art. Students working on the Journal Project gain hands-on experience in all areas of publishing and marketing a literary arts journal: planning esthetic scope and content, selection process for written and visual submissions, meeting with designers, distribution, public relations, working with bookstores, galleries and advertisers. These experiences give students a diverse set of skills useful in the publishing and art world.
