COURSE DESCRIPTION

FASHN200 Fashion Studio 1
July 14–August 8, 2008

At the center of fashion at CCA lies the studio experience. In Studio 1 we begin the pedagogic journey through the skills of draping, pattern cutting and garment construction, that enable the fashion designer to put language to their voice. The course starts with elementary pattern cutting and draping with muslin. At the same time, Studio 1 orients the fashion student to the environment of a studio, working both individually and as a team. Additional materials fee will be charged.
