INDUS412 IS: Design Communication 5
May 28–August 2, 2008

This course is focused on the "conceptual" design process, taking the students' basic 3D modeling skills and incorporating 2D digital sketching techniques to produce a vital 2D/3D integrated approach. Aspects of the mathematics behind modeling and how they effectively control design language, and the interactive techniques of proportional/volumetric concept development. The second half of the semester will take a project from concept through presentation, while exploring the inclusion of brand expression, to produce a complete story about a given idea.
