Sound, Music & Technology"
This course provides a general understanding of the aesthetics, vocabulary and techniques needed to record, edit, process and organize sound for installation work, live performance and composition, soundscape design and alternative media using computers. The class includes technical, theoretical and practical hands-on sections. Students are encouraged to experiment and to develop their own sound vocabularies and techniques to fit their particular interests. Each student will be asked to deliver a final project and a presentation using techniques and software applications covered in class.
