Students learn beginning bookmaking techniques using traditional bookbinding materials. Following hands-on demonstrations, each participant produces several sample books by employing their new skills to create imaginative book forms that provide a unique way to present one’s art or photographs.
Participants are encouraged to bring any special papers they would like to include in their books. The materials fee covers paper, book cloth, and binding materials for sample books.
Bring to class: scissors, razor or knife/X-Acto, ruler, triangle, bone folder.
