Find inspiration in the work of leading California interior designers, landscape designers, furniture designers, and architects at this year’s ID Forum. Each speaker will discuss latest trends and give a lively and provocative presentation of newly completed work, shedding light on the process of creating new theories, new design, and new craft. Aesthetics and practicalities of design will be addressed, including issues of ecology and “green” materials.
The design and architecture of leading San Francisco firms is international in scope and demonstrates the energy, quality, originality, and vision of California-based firms. Newest works from these firms demonstrate the current directions and new concepts that will lead us into the next decade. Presented by best-selling design author Diane Dorrans Saeks.

A one-day insider's tour and lecture provides a rare opportunity for participants to visit private design studios that are otherwise mostly inaccessible to the public. Often we read about the newest work by leading designers and admire their polish and perfection. We frequent galleries and appreciate the finesse of fine art and fine furniture design. Now you can meet real-world designers, view their studios, and learn what goes on behind the scenes.
Four locations are planned. Registrants receive a schedule and map prior to class. Participants are responsible for transportation to the various sites. Lunch is provided.
