Andrew Weiner received his Ph.D. in Rhetoric from UC-Berkeley in 2011. His dissertation examined the relation between aesthetics and politics in West Germany and Austria during the 1960s, focusing on the emergence of new event forms. He has contributed essays and criticism to publications including Afterall, ARTMargins, Grey Room, and Journal of Visual Culture.
