Christopher Smith

Independent designer Christopher Smith provides creative services to growing companies. He designs projects ranging from tradeshow exhibits to tabletop housewares, from furniture collections to consumer packaging. He is responsible for dozens of collections and distinctive pieces for major retailers and boutique-production houses. Smith was founding partner and design director for Blackbird, a manufacturer of premium residential lighting products.

Smith earned his BA for Hamilton College and his BFA from then-called California College of Arts and Crafts with high distinction.
