
Cinthia Wen is the founder and creative director of the noted San Francisco design and branding firm NOON. NOON designs identities, print, books, products, packaging, campaigns, environments, web, and motion graphics.
Recent work includes projects with Bocadillos, Girl Scouts of USA, Nokia, Restoration Hardware, ODC/Dance San Francisco, Piperade, San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Williams-Sonoma, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
Wen was named one of the “People to Watch” in 2004. The work by Wen and NOON has been honored by many awards of excellence including AIGA 365, AIGA SF Grown in California, The West Coast Art Director’s Club, and The Type Director’s Club.
Additionally, Wen's work has been published in Graphis Identity, Graphis Brochure, Graphis Typography, Communication Arts, Creative UK, Print, How Magazine, Step, and in in various other design titles around the world.
Her work was exhibited at SFMOMA, San Francisco Museum of Art + Crafts’ design exhibition in 2009, and in the United Kingdom.
In addition to creative direction, Wen is committed to every aspect of design, from strategy, design, to making comps. A true believer in visual communication, Wen is involved with the AIGA in efforts to continually improve the design profession, its ethics, and relationship to the world.
She is currently working on an exhibition piece reflecting the integration of living and working.
In 2010 Wen launched Goods at NOON, a division of NOON aimed to use graphic design to create products and solutions that are earth-friendly and sustainable.
Wen is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
