Dr. Daniel Brownstein is a cultural historian of maps and early modern medicine. He previously taught at University of California at Berkeley, University of California at Los Angeles, and the University of San Francisco before joining CCA as a senior lecturer. Dr. Brownstein has published on several areas of Renaissance visual culture, including medicine and maps, and taught workshops a 826 Valencia on oral history.
