A believer in the Confucian saying, "I hear, then I forget; I see, then I believe; I do, then I learn," Dan brings real-world business examples, with more than twelve years of corporate finance experience at IBM, Agilent Technologies, Google, and Military.com into both the Accounting and Finance classes. Helping students not only do various calculations, but also to see the meaning and context of those calculations, are at the heart of his teaching style.

Teaching since its inception, Dan continues to be thrilled and amazed at the quality of the DMBA program. Dan holds a MS in International Relations from Troy University (Europe), and a MBA from Duke University (Fuqua School of Business). A Native San Franciscan, West Point Graduate, a master-strength chess player, and a big fan of Insanity and P90x, Dan hopes to complete his first triathlon sometime in the upcoming year
