Hannah Brown

Hannah Brown, Assoc. AIA, SMPS, is Adjunct Professor at California College of the Arts in the Department of Architecture. Since 2006, Hannah has taught Professional Practice classes and acts as the Architecture Internship and IDP Coordinator.
Business Manager of Feldman Architecture, Hannah works closely with Principal Jonathan Feldman in marketing and business development efforts, as well managing the firm’s operations. Hannah also works with Feldman to edit the blog, Green Architecture Notes, a forum for discussion of research and applications of energy efficient design and construction and promoting sustainability in the practice of architecture.
Hannah has managed marketing and operations efforts for Baldauf Catton von Eckartsberg (BCV) Architects and Anderson Anderson Architecture. While with BCV Architects, Hannah worked closely with the staff of Slow Food Nation 2008 to coordinate the efforts of over 20 design firms who helped build a San Francisco event where 85,000 attendees learned about good, clean and fair practices in food production. Hannah also worked extensively on the project management and installation of the Green Kitchen at Slow Food Nation.
Prior to this, Hannah assisted Donlyn Lyndon, FAIA, in researching The Sea Ranch, published by Princeton Architectural Press in 2004 and has enjoyed several research, writing and editing opportunities throughout her career. Hannah received her Masters in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, where her thesis explored the convergence of retail practices in museum curation and programming. Hannah’s undergraduate degree in Art History was earned at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
