Mary Anne Masterson focuses on the intersection of marketing strategy, brand innovation and consumer insight. She has led major initiatives with global clients such as SK Telecom, AT&T, McKinsey, Johnson & Johnson and Microsoft, as well as leading strategy and innovation projects with privately held companies, entertainment groups and start-ups, both in the consumer and B2B space. She spent several years as the Director of Brand Innovation at global innovation leader, frog design, before starting her own company. In addition to consulting, Mary Anne is a Founder at Mix & Stir Studio, a design driven start up incubator partnering with CCA.

Prior to frog, Mary Anne spent more than five years leading brand strategy, product management and planning initiatives for Microsoft’s Windows Consumer and Xbox groups, as well as overseeing Microsoft’s consumer brand architecture for Microsoft’s Corporate Brand and Marketing Strategy Group. During her tenure at Microsoft, she launched multiple products, including Windows XP, Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Vista - and led several significant planning projects in the Xbox new products incubator. Prior to receiving her MBA, Mary Anne was the Group Services Director at the Aspen Skiing Company – overseeing sales, marketing and operations for 500+ special events per year across four destination mountain resorts in Colorado, including Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass Resort and Buttermilk.

Mary Anne holds a BA from Colorado College, where she majored in Creative Writing and Literature, and an MBA, in Marketing and Business Strategy, from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, at Northwestern University.
