Mie Preckler
Mie Preckler is a visual artist who works primarily in the area of site-specific installations and interventions. Her work has been shown widely in the United States, South America, and Europe.
She has received numerous awards and honors, including a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, a Phyllis C. Wattis Foundation Fellowship, and residencies at Yaddo, Djerassi, the Headlands Center for the Arts, and the Instituto Sacatar in Brazil.
Since 2002 Mie has been working on a large-scale site intervention, A Conversation with the Gravelpit, at I-Park in Connecticut.
