Rachel Berger
Born in Portland and educated in New Haven, Rachel Berger is currently a designer at SYPartners in San Francisco.
Before joining SYPartners, she spent a summer at Pentagram Design in New York, working on Michael Bierut's team for clients that included Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, Museum of Arts and Design, and Monacelli Press. Her freelance clients include Yale School of Art, Yale School of Architecture, Yale Symphony Orchestra, and Artspace New Haven.
Rachel has previously taught graphic design and typography at Yale. Her writing on design and culture has appeared on Design Observer and Significant Objects blogs. She was listed in the Wallpaper* Graduate Directory 2010.
She holds an MFA in graphic design and a BA in American studies, each from Yale.
