Teddy Zmrhal

Teddy Zmrhal is a silicon valley serial entrepreneur and learning designer with 15 years' experience in business formation and strategy, technology, product development, board directorship and teaching/learning sciences. He has started several businesses, non-profit boards, and other organizations and consulted to Fortune 100 companies, social enterprises, non-profits and more start-ups than he can count. His primary interests lie in sustainable business, social ventures, and consumer internet services.

He is currently an adjunct faculty member in the MBA and Management of Technology programs at the Haas School of Business, in the MBA at the Presidio School of Management, and in the Design MBA and the Leading by Design Fellows Executive Certificate Programs here at CCA.

His corporate assignments include Strategy and Product Development for SmartForce, LLC, Senior Consultant at Accenture and Deloitte Consulting, Financial Research Consultant for the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, Trainer and Consultant for Motorola Inc, Founder and Vice President of Product Development for Learning Productions LLC, Partner at Congruity, a boutique strategy and leading edge technology and social architecture consultancy in Silicon Valley and most recently Founder and Chief Operating Officer at B!, a health and wellness startup in Silicon Valley.

Teddy also sits on the Board of Trustees for San Francisco based foolsFury theatre company and the Advisory Boards of Sound Goods, LLC a New York City based startup looking to ‘green’ the retail apparel supply chain and HealthRally, a social health company in San Francisco.

Originally from Chicago, Teddy earned a Masters in Learning Sciences from Northwestern, MBAs in Strategy, Organizational Behavior, and Entrepreneurship from Columbia and London Business Schools and was a Visiting Scholar in Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford. He has studied in the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America and lived in Chicago, New York, Madrid, London, and San Francisco.
