Online Registration: Who Can Use WebAdvisor?

Online Registration requires either a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express) or an electronic check (e-check) as a method for payment. (E-checks authorize a direct debit to a personal checking account.)

Easy-to-use prompts are available for all new WebAdvisor users, including the addition of a CCA Course Payments FAQ.

Online registrations are confirmed by email.

If you have difficulty for any reason, please call the Office of Special Programs at 510.594.3710 and we'll gladly register you by phone.

Navigating WebAdvisor

• Once in WebAdvisor, if you are a new user, simply click on the CCA Extension button on the right hand side of the page
• Click on Register and Pay for CCA Extension Classes
• After you register and pay for a class, you will be issued a login via email

Searching for Classes in WebAdvisor

Here are a few tips when searching for classes in the "Register and Pay for CCA Extension Classes" page of WebAdvisor.

• Search for keyword (the keyword must be in the course title)
• Course code number (the course code for our Fashion Sustainability Workshops is EXFAS)
• To view all courses, simply select Submit without entering any criteria

Who Should Not Use WebAdvisor?

When paying for registration by check or money order, these transactions must be made either in person or by postal mail. See the following section for other ways to register.

Other Ways to Register

Fax your completed CCA Fashion Sustainability registration form (PDF) with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express information to 510.594.3771. (Please call to confirm receipt of fax.)

Phone 510.594.3710 to register by phone with your credit card. Please be sure to have all information requested on the registration form and your credit card information available when you call.

Mail your completed registration form to California College of the Arts, Office of Special Programs, 5212 Broadway, Oakland CA 94618. Remember to include your check or credit card information.

Register in person at either CCA Student Records Office: 5212 Broadway (Oakland) or 80 Carolina Street (San Francisco -- adjacent to the main CCA building at 1111 Eighth Street) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

All fax, phone, mail, and in-person registrations are confirmed by mail.

Payment

CCA accepts personal checks or money orders (payable to California College of the Arts), credit cards, or cash.

Tuition is payable in full at time of registration.

Note: A $25 penalty will be charged to the student’s account for any returned check, regardless of the reason.

Refund/Withdrawal

Refund requests and program withdrawals must be made in writing. To obtain a tuition refund, a student must officially withdraw by faxing the Office of Special Programs at 510.594.3771 or emailing Carol Pitts.

Important: If you do not receive an email confirming receipt of your fax by the end of the next business day, please call 510.594.3710 to ensure that your fax has been received.

Refund Schedule

Resource-Fullness Workshop: June 20-21, 2013
Students whose withdrawal/refund request is received on or before Wednesday, May 22, are entitled to a refund of tuition payments made, less a $20 cancellation fee.
No refund after May 22

In the event that you miss the refund deadline but can no longer attend, you are welcome to have a colleague take your place. This colleague must also have the requisite three years experience in the fashion industry.

Failure to attend class or notifying an instructor or staff member does not constitute an official withdrawal.

Please allow up to four weeks to process all refund requests. If you paid by credit card, your account will be credited; if you paid by check, you will be issued a refund check.

The college reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the program if the minimum enrollment is not met. In this unlikely event, you would be notified by phone or email, and you would receive a full tuition refund.
