Humans determine the world not only through what we see but also how we interact with the material world by touching, making, planning, arranging, manipulating, and implementing physical objects and spaces.
In 3D Core Studio courses students investigate the tangible in an interactive studio setting through hand-made objects, textiles, models, functional products, and sculptural techniques.
By developing safe studio practice and building professional time-management skills, learners connect to physical objects in new ways. Students delve into the increasingly important concepts of sustainability and reuse, in addition to familiarizing themselves with the diversity of cultural contributions to the world of material objects and spaces.
