Everything is OK is a collaborative art project aimed at provoking people to more critically consider the status quo. It consists of police-style barricade tape, emblazoned with the message "Everything is OK." The statement can be read as either an affirmative/reassuring phrase, or a condemning indictment of mediocrity.
The project has been exhibited numerous galleries and museums, including the Pasadena Museum of California Art, The Hiroshima Museum of Contemporary Art (Japan), The San Francisco Museum of Craft & Design and Taipei Design Week. In 2009 it was the subject of a public commission by the San Francisco Art Commission.
