Linda Yaven has a learning consultancy, coaching individuals and groups on documentation and ways of making thinking visible. She recently completed a two-year project for the U.S. Department of Defense on creative thinking and assessment.
Since returning from the infant/toddler schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, Linda has adapted this learning model for little ones and adults who are keen on innovative learning here in the United States.
She is a public speaker on innovative practice, guest lecturing at AIGA; Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum; Lesley University; Harvard University; and other institutions. She was a speaker at the Creative Problem Solving Institute conference in Chicago in June 2006 and at the Innovation Convergence conference in San Diego in October 2006.
Linda is a documenter for the Making Learning Visible project at Harvard's Project Zero. She is completing a one-hour documentary, Teach Us Something in 7 Minutes.
