Andre Carothers

Andre Carothers is executive director of the Rockwood Leadership Program, a national nonprofit organization that trains senior nonprofit leaders in leadership and collaboration skills. Rockwood has trained more than 1,500 nonprofit executives since 2000 and also offers programs that support issuewide collaboration among nonprofits working on human rights, environmental, electoral reform, and other related issues.

Andre has served on the staff and board of directors of Greenpeace USA, and he currently serves on the boards of the International Rivers Network and the Rainforest Action Network. He is an organizational development consultant and trainer with a strong background in nonprofit management, political organizing, and progressive politics, and he has written extensively on social change and political issues.
