Gabrielle Calvocoressi

Gabrielle Calvocoressi's first book of poems, The Last Time I Saw Amelia Earhart, was published by Persea Books in April 2005.

She has been the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, including a Rona Jaffe Woman Writers Award and a Stegner Fellowship in Poetry at Stanford University, where she also held a Jones Lectureship in Poetry.

Her long poem, "Circus Fire, 1944," received the Paris Review's Bernard F. Conners Prize.
