Katharine Noel's novel, Halfway House was a New York Times Editor's Choice and the winner of the 2006 Kate Chopin Award for fiction. Chapters have been anthologized in Best New American Voices and Outside Rules. Katharine held a Wallace Stegner fellowship at Stanford University in 2000–2, and she has taught at Stanford, the University of Arizona, and University of San Francisco.
