Deadline for fall 2008: tba
PLAySPACE is accepting proposals of all kinds for our programming cycles. We encourage CCA students—as well as non-CCA students, curators, art professionals—to submit project proposals.
Summer PLAySPACE events feature works in progress by artists, writers, architects, designers, and curators within and outside the CCA community. Participants are invited to bring works in progress or documentation of these works to show and discuss casually.
Please contact playspace@cca.edu if you would like to participate. In your email, please tell us the following:
Our fall season returns to a more standard exhibition format while remaining open to a broad diversity of experimental events that further the gallery's mission of fostering dialogue and artistic growth, within and beyond the CCA community.
Please review the following guidelines and submit your proposal in one of three ways:
We suggest including the following in your proposal:
Most importantly your proposal should convey to the selection committee the scope and character of the proposed exhibition, activity, or event. It should contain all the information necessary to clearly describe what you are proposing. And, perhaps more importantly, it should get those reviewing it excited about making your vision.
We truly are interested in projects of all kinds! We're interested in curated or juried exhibitions, film and video screenings, performances, installations, readings, writing and publishing projects, design and architecture exhibitions, artist talks and conferences—anything you want to see at PLAySPACE or have PLAySPACE help you execute.
If you have any questions, please email playspace@cca.edu.
