GRAPH204 Typography 1: Form First in a sequence of four typography courses; assumes no knowledge of typography. Introductory typography examines both micro (specific characteristics of major typefaces) and macro (overall format) design problems; a brief history of the development of typographic forms and technologies, with emphasis on current technologies.
