GRAPH336 Motion Graphics The goal of this course is to master the equipment and software necessary for the production of motion graphics and video effects. Students will explore the expressive aspects of animated typography. Typography will be the focus of discussions about process, application, editing and media theory. The course is an interactive lab for experimentation, providing models and instruction for both digital and analog production. Sample projects include film titles, teasers, broadcast identities and storyboarding. The primary software instructed will be Adobe After Effects, although an introduction to non-linear editing and sound design will also be provided. |
