About the Graphic Design Internships
CCA's Graphic Design Program offers its undergraduates unique opportunities to intern with leading Bay Area graphic design companies as well as related designers.
Interning is an invaluable experience that not only affords you the chance to work on innovative real-world projects outside the college but also heightens the relevance of your portfolio, giving you a leading-edge advantage when applying to graduate programs or entering the workforce.
Accessing the List
IMPORTANT: You must be using your cca.edu email address to access the proprietary list of current internships. If your instructor has yet to provide you with the direct link, you may contact Doug Akagi to request the link be sent to you.

This list is made available to CCA Graphic Design students only, and should never be shared with any persons -- within Graphic Design or not. Instead, have the student contact either of the above persons to request access.
When you have found an internship position at an approved site, you will be responsible for completing and submitting the Internship Registration Form.
Positions at Nonapproved Sites
If you find an internship position in a firm that is not an approved site, you must do the following:
- Submit samples of the firm's work and/or the URL of its website to the internship coordinator.
- Provide a detailed, written job description of the intern responsibilities.
- Have the site supervisor, the person who would supervise your work, fill out the Internship Listing form (PDF) and submit it to the program manager or the internship coordinator.
Upon completion of your internship, you will be responsible for submitting the following documents:
Remind your site supervisor to send in the Employer evaluation form.
