Lynn Kirby

Lynn Marie Kirby creates works in film, video, sound, performance, and installation.

Her work has been widely exhibited in galleries and museums, including the Whitney Museum of American Art; the Museum of Modern Art; Olympic Museum in Sarajevo; the Pompidou Centre and Theatre Entrepot in Paris; Luna Park and Arsenal in Berlin; Portland Museum of Art; Kennedy Center; LACE; the Pacific Film Archive; the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts; the de Young Museum; and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Her films and videos have shown at film festivals around the world.

She is the recipient of grants from the Guggenheim Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships, Film Arts Foundation, Jerome Foundation, and Kelsey Street Press.
