Eleven Eleven

Eleven Eleven is an annual journal of literature and art based at California College of the Arts. The aim of the publication is to provide a forum for risk and experimentation and to serve as an exchange between writers and artists.

The 2007 issue features writing by Aharon Shabtai, Cole Swenson, Renee Gladman, Rusty Morrison, Magdalena Zurawski, Edward Bartok-Baratta, Jen Hoffer and Roman Lujan, Rodrigo, Flores, Sanchez and His Homies, Alejandro Tarrab, Jose Manuel Velazquez, Karen Plata, Rosalva Garcia Coral, Chris Abani, Michael Palmer, Jacqueline Risset, Aaron Kunin, K. Silem Mohammad. With an interview and poetry by David Shapiro.

Eleven Eleven was founded in 2004 by Youmna Chlala and Gayle Romasanta.

Previous issues have featured prose by Victor LaValle, Peter Orner, Micheline Aharonian Marcom, and Alison Bing; poetry by Michael Harper, Taylor Brady, and Eileen Tabios; and visual art by Ernesto Caivano, Wangechi Mutu, Ryan McGinley, Ala Ebtekar, Sean McFarland, and Conor McGrady.
