We welcome daring and insightful submissions of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, art and literary criticism, and visual art. We consider work until October 15 for our winter online issue and February 15 for our summer printed issue.
Only materials sent with a SASE and the proper corresponding postage will be returned.
Eleven Eleven is an annual publication; please allow up to six months for a response. We do accept simultaneous submissions, provided you notify us of this in your cover letter.
Guidelines for Writers
- Please limit your submissions to 7,000 words. Prose writers may submit more than one work.
- Poets should fulfill this requirement by limiting your submissions to five poems or five pages of hard copy.
- Each page of your submission should include your name.
- Please include complete contact information in your cover letter.
- Feel free to include a brief synopsis of your writing practice or creative process information regarding the submitted work(s).
Guidelines for Artists
- Please limit your submissions to five slides or five images on a CD.
- Images submitted on a CD must be 300 dpi or higher.
- If you submit slides, label each slide with the name of the work and the artist's name.
- For each image, please indicate the following: title, date, materials, dimensions, and image credit.
- Please also submit a brief artist's statement and complete contact information.
- If you have representation, please include complete contact information for the gallery.
