Studio Requirements
The study of painting and drawing is the nearly perfect tool for the activity of learning about self and society. The Painting/Drawing Program facilitates the study of the visual experience by teaching the use of line, form, color, composition, and space.
Over the span of a four-year education, the emphasis gradually shifts to experimentation and individual expression. The program places a strong emphasis on art history, as well as the philosophical issues reflected in contemporary culture.
