Design Awards

CCA is proud to have current degree-seeking students designing all of the materials that inform prospective high school students about the Pre-College Program. These materials include posters, postcards, brochures, and ads. They are designed by Sputnik, CCA’s in-house undergraduate design studio.

Sputnik students design about 85 percent of CCA’s printed promotional materials as well as selected multimedia projects. Participating in the program is a wonderful opportunity for them to extend their training beyond the classroom and deal with real projects, real deadlines, and real limitations (of time, money, and resources).

The experience exemplifies the college’s motto: Theory and Practice. Sputnik and the Pre-College materials have been featured in several publications, including Print and BusinessWeek magazines, and have won numerous design awards.
