Designer Heidi Reifenstein

CCA alumna Heidi Reifenstein (BFA Graphic Design 2009) attended Juneau Douglas High School in Juneau, Alaska, before completing her first degree in studio art from Whitman College in 2000.

Before starting at CCA, Heidi worked as an artist, founded and managed a nonprofit gallery and community art center, spent summers as a white-water rafting guide and winters as a ski coach, and occasionally taught art classes.

Heidi graduated from CCA with distinction, as well as an award-winning thesis and two additional accolades for her professional work—awards of excellence from the University & College Designers Association for two of her design projects: the 2009 Pre-College campaign and the Architecture Lecture Series poster.

Heidi enjoyed the caliber and intensity of CCA’s Graphic Design Program. Going beyond her expectations, she appreciated the level to which her peers and professors pushed her.

Today Heidi is a freelance designer with clients in California and Alaska.
