Screenprinting is the most versatile of all the print media, with the ability to create multiple images on many different substrates, including paper, fabric, or wood. This studio is geared to the creation of original prints in multicolored, limited editions as well as individual pieces of art.
The various methods of creating a film positive -- painting, hand-drawn, cut masking film, photographic or by digital output -- are demonstrated and explored. The final project pushes the boundaries of the medium to consider a range of possibilities -- from the book form to sculpture and installation.
Screenprinting is paired with Printmaking.
