For all nonprint MFA graduate students who’ve taken a Printmaking course at CCA
Studio access is permitted with #6 guidelines followed (form, fee, and signature).
For post-BFA Printmaking major students
Studio access with $50 fee (for 1 semester after graduation)
For current students in Printmaking courses
Students currently enrolled in Printmaking classes have priority, but only for that course (unless in Senior Project or Junior Tutorial within the Printmaking Program).
Studio access policy for students who have successfully completed a course
Students who have successfully completed classes in the Printmaking Program (or the Letterpress course in Graphic Design) can continue to work in the studios after they complete all of the following:
- Complete the access form and submit to Studio Manager Chano Uribe.
- Get permission of instructor in the appropriate studio area who is currently teaching in the Printmaking Program.
- Pay the $50-per-semester fee (does not include screen print inks).
All students working in the print studios should adhere to the following guidelines:
- Currently enrolled students in Printmaking courses have studio priority.
- Students cannot use studios the last two weeks of academic term.
- Studio protocols must be respected (e.g., sign up for time slots in Letterpress).
- Studios must be left clean.
- Students who do not follow the guidelines will lose these privileges.
All approved students will be photographed for security access. (Photographs are posted in the appropriate studios.)
Chano Uribe is the studio manager and can be contacted at curibe@cca.edu. His office is in the Martinez 2 complex.
Studio hours: See the Oakland campus access policy, which is also posted around the studios each semester, for specific hours.
