
CCA's Young Artist Studio Program (YASP) is an exciting, two-week-long, intensive studio experience for students who want to explore the visual arts in a professional art-school setting. Eligible students have just completed the sixth, seventh, or eighth grade. The program is offered at both of CCA's campuses, in Oakland and San Francisco. Enrollment is limited to 16 students per class section.

The all-day programs take place from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Morning studios are scheduled from 8:30–11:30 a.m. There is a lunch break from 11:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m. (students may bring lunch or purchase it from the college). Afternoon studios are scheduled from 12:15–2:15 p.m. and 2:30–4:30 p.m.

Participants take Computers in Art and Drawing from Life.
At the final exhibition, family and friends have the opportunity to see what their young artists have created during their time at YASP. Final exhibitions are scheduled by program dates below:
