Oakland campus (August 4–15)
Students learn the basic principles of animation by creating their own animated videos. They use stop-motion techniques to animate ordinary objects, people, and photographs and create original characters from their drawings and cut paper.
Each student has the opportunity to write, direct, and incorporate sound into a final video animation production, which they can take home on VHS or DVD.
Students must supply one blank VHS tape or DVD-R.
